Emergency Services face a unique set of occupational hazards in a rapidly changing and complex environment. This requires specialist vehicles that offer world-class safety, reliability and performance, designed with the firefighter in mind.
With over 40-years in the Australian market, Volvo’s innovative trucks are a combination of global vision and local intelligence. We know what it takes to build a truck that will thrive in Australian conditions. Being in the emergency services industry means expecting the unexpected.
This year we launch the new Volvo FM Crew Cab, specially designed for the Emergency Services industry based on feedback we have received from you. This is the first public showcase of this truck at the 2021 AFAC exhibition and we invite you to our stand 190 to see it for yourself!
Since 1972, Volvo Trucks Australia have produced more than 60,000 vehicles at our production facility in Wacol, Brisbane, Queensland. Today, we locally build Volvo FH16, Volvo FH, Volvo FM and Volvo FMX and are certified with the ‘Australian Made’ logo, which means that we support local jobs and the economy. We plan to include the new Volvo FM Crew Cab into our local production strategy in the future.
